Management 466 Managerial Effectiveness through Diversity
This course familiarizes students with modern theories and concepts of diversity management. It addresses various aspects of diversity, including cultural differences, discrimination, and affirmative action. Students participate in thoughtful discussions on the dimensions of respect for diversity in contemporary organizations, as well as analysis and management of diversity related issues in the workplace. Classes include a mixture of lecture, exercises, skill development, and cases in order to help the student develop his or her understanding of diversity and its impact on business and society.
