Download iCal FileOnboarding is a mandatory program exclusively for first year business students. Onboarding takes place August 17 and 18. At Onboarding you will meet the other students in your new student cohort, and your UIC Business success team, which includes your faculty, academic and career advisers, and your Cohort Captains (upper-level student peers). At Onboarding, you will participate in pre-enrollment activities with your cohort and success team, ensuring that you are ready for business when classes start. We ask that you block out 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on both days; however, your time commitment will be approximately 2.5 hours per day. You will receive your Onboarding schedule on August 3, after you have registered for classes (make sure you have gotten your placement tests done and completed new student orientation so you can register). We look forward to meeting you at Onboarding.
If you have not already registered for Onboarding, there are two ways you can do so:
- Refer back to the email invitation with subject line “UIC Business First Year New Student Onboarding” and click the registration link in the email.
- Log into the application status portal below and complete the registration.
