Welcome to the UIC Liautaud MS in MIS program! This program is designed to help you understand how to use technology to improve business practices. Here, you will find everything you need to successfully navigate through your MS in MIS journey.

The degree consists of a combination of required courses and electives. Some students are required to complete breadth and background courses, depending on their academic background. Please consult your admissions letter and/or speak with an Academic Advisor to confirm which course plan you are required to follow as an MIS student.
To receive a UIC Liautaud MIS degree you must:
- Complete 32 graduate credit hours
- Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.00/4.00 for 32 hours counting toward the degree
- Complete the capstone experience as either a design project with an external company or organization or an independent research project
