FIN 495 Override Request Form

If you are planning to take FIN 495 this Fall 2026, you will need to fill out this form to obtain override approval to register. Overrides will be given in the order that they are received, and you will be emailed once you are approved. You will also be contacted if you do not meet the prerequisites below and will not be given an override.

Please allow up to 10 business days for a response (although in most cases, you will hear back sooner). Please do not email your advisor for approval.

To be approved, you MUST meet the following prerequisites:

  • Fall 2026 is your FINAL semester of study for your undergraduate degree.
  • You have completed the Business Core, *or are/will be concurrently registered in the remaining Business Core* courses, as well as completion of both FIN 310 and FIN 320.

*Business Core Courses: ACTG 210 and 211, BA 200, FIN 301 and 302 (or FIN 300), IDS 200 and 270, and 355, MGMT 340 and 350, MKTG 360, Global Business Course
