Transfer Credit Petition

This petition is to be used by current Business majors who wish to have further evaluation of transfer credits which are not currently being applied towards their degree.

Upon submission, your petition will be responded to within 1-5 business days. Please check your UIC email for a response.

Please Note:

*As of Spring 2018, each academic college at UIC reviews transfer courses that are housed in their respective colleges. If you are petitioning a course outside of UIC Business, response time may be delayed.

*Students must upload a syllabus and/or a course description for review (syllabus preferred and may be required).

*300 or 400-level Accounting courses will be accepted only from AACSB Accounting-accredited universities.

Please note that we cannot evaluate credits that do not appear on your degree audit. If you haven't already, please send an official transcript to UIC and wait until the credit post to your degree audit (uAchieve) before you submit this petition.
